The Buckingham Coolhand Plate Holder is ideal for transferring plates directly from the microwave to a kitchen work surface or table. This clever kitchen aid uses leverage so that the entire hand takes the weight of the plate making it ideal for those with arthritis and limited hand dexterity.

This daily living aid makes food preparation and serving both safer and easier for people with restricted mobility and supports independent living.

The Buckingham Coolhand Plate Holder mobility aid is suitable for use with most plates with a rim thickness of up to 8mm (0.3 inches.) It is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

Please note: This plate holder should not be used for transferring plates from conventional ovens where plates can reach a very high temperature.
